She brings over a decade of experience across healthcare, IT systems, and data infrastructure. Prior to HealthRate, she was a Distinguished Engineer at Optum, where she built enterprise-scale data warehouses and AI tools to support IT operations.
She also held leadership roles at Medica and Rocky Mountain Health Plans, focusing on business intelligence, data governance, and system configuration.
Kate has expertise in SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, healthcare data systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). She has also served as a mentor in analytics and data science programs.
